"What's Next for the DCU? 'Superman: Legacy' Hints at Life After the Justice League's."

 Filming locations for Superman: Legacy have been revealed, and one could hint at the DCU's Justice League replacement debuting earlier than thought.



  •  Superman: Legacy is set to film in Cleveland and Cincinnati, Ohio, two vital locations for DC Comics' Man of Steel.
  •  Superman: Legacy will release as the DC Universe's first feature film on July 11, 2025.
  •  The DCU's first Justice League team may be introduced in Superman: Legacy , however this will be altogether different from the DCEU's version.


The Justice League of the rebooted DC Universe may make a big appearance as early as 2025's Superman: Legacy, as new details about the upcoming task hint at one important DC Comics location being introduced.


 Plans to reboot the DCEU into the new DC Universe have been moving since James Gunn and Peter Safran were employed as co-CEOs of DC Studios in November 2022.


 Gunn announced ten projects in the DCU's Chapter 1, named "Gods and Monsters", in January 2023, including the DCU's Superman: Legacy, which is set to make a big appearance David Corenswet as Clark Kent's Man of Steel following Henry Cavill's departure.


Superman: Legacy is supposed to release on July 11, 2025, as the DCU's first feature film, however the new franchise will start off in 2024 with the premieres of Creature Commandos and Waller. Superman: Legacy will introduce many heroes to the DCU, including Mister Fantastic,



Metamorpho, Hawkgirl and Fellow Gardner's Green Lantern, among others, suggesting that David Corenswet's Superman will already have connections to several strong figures in the DCU.
